
Bergen Community College is supported by funds from Bergen County and the State of New Jersey. For this reason, tuition and fees are relatively low, despite the rising costs of higher education. Costs per semester are listed, although they are subject to change without notice.
Admission Fees
Reinstatement Fee (Nonrefundable) $25.00
Tuition Deposit for Nursing and Allied Health $100.00

General Fee (15% of tuition)
Payable by all students each semester or session, the general fee partially defrays the following costs: registration, library, laboratory breakage, student intercollegiate activities, student government, indentification cards and graduation cost. This general fee is non-refundable and payable each semester or session on a per credit basis.
Applicable Course Fees
In courses where additional instructional cost factors are incurred, the student will be charged a course fee ranging from $60.00 per each contact hour that exceeds credit hours; maximum of $420.00 per course. Schedules and bills will indicate which courses have an additional cost factor. The tuition and fees are subject to change.
Special Registration Fee: $5.00 per student per semester.

Non-Credit Tuition
The maximum non-credit tuition tuition charge for state fundable courses will be $8.50 per contact hour. The maximum laboratory fees for the courses are $12.75 per contact hour.
Foreign students on F-1 visas matriculated after Fall '02 and living in Bergen County will be charged the Out-of County tuition rate per semester.
