Career:
Student. I am currently attending William Paterson University.

Why did you pick Bergen Community College?:
I chose Bergen because of its high reputation among two-year colleges in New Jersey and in the country. Bergen has a quality set of faculty and staff members. I appreciate the learning facilities that are available at the College, including the renovated school library and its huge parking lots.

What did you like best about your college experience?:
The friendships and kind gestures that I have received from the students, counselors, staff and instructors, including Mr. Pride, Professor Kuiters, Mrs. Garry, Mr. Flax, Professor Baudo, Professor Cabassa, Dr. Comai, Dr. Jimenez and others.

What was your favorite academic experience while at Bergen?:
I have enjoyed participating in the Honors program, Bergen’s Phi Theta Kappa community service activities, and my laboratory and clinical classes in the Bergen nursing program. As a student, what makes you different from others is not what you have, but what you do with what you have. Use your time wisely; desire the best and work towards being the best.

What advice would you give a current/prospective student?:
The opportunities are there for you; make good use of them all. The staff, instructors, counselors, and students at Bergen are available to guide and assist you; respect them and make good use of them.

Other colleges attended :
Polytechnic of Ibadan, Nigeria, University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and currently attending William Paterson University

Highest Degree Earned :
Associate’s Degree
