Mae Frankeberger Fall 2006
I am a second year student at Bergen Community College. I originally became interested in this institution after I auditioned for a production of “The Tempest.” I wasn’t sure what field of study I was interested in; but after performing in the play I knew that I wanted to be a theatre major.
Why did you choose Bergen Community College?:
I wanted to attend Bergen because I had the opportunity to choose from a variety of options and fields of study. I was also impressed with the College’s reasonable tuition costs.
What advice would you give a prospective student?:
I would tell them to open their eyes to all the possibilities that Bergen offers its students. Additionally, the College has many clubs that students can join.
What has been your favorite academic experience so far?:
I’ve enjoyed getting to know my professors who have gone out of their way to help me. I have also met many great people who have become an important part of my life.
Do you participate in other clubs or organizations while enrolled at Bergen? If yes, please list them here.:
I am one of the event planners for the Theatre Club and hope to continue to advance in this club when I return to Bergen next year. This is a great club because it is comprised of people who work in different aspects of the theatre.
