Biography:
I was born in Lima, Peru and I came to the United States in 2002. When I first started school, I was lost because I did not know the language or how the school system worked. But since I always put 110 percent in everything, I was able to graduate No. 9 in my top 15 senior class. Now I am attending Bergen and I think is a very good college. A student can learn a lot from this place; professors are very helpful and there are many activities that students can get involved.
Why did you choose Bergen Community College?:
I chose Bergen because it is affordable for the students and also provides a good education.
What advice would you give a prospective student?:
My advice to them will be to take advantage of what Bergen offers. Follow your goals in life and attending to college is one big first step.
What has been your favorite academic experience so far?:
My favorite experience so far is the “school stress” that I get every third week of the semester. I love to have exams to study for and the fact that I am studying to become a better person and a professional motivates me to keep going and fulfill my goals.
