Biography:
I was born and raised in Santiago, Chile. I have four children; the oldest is 24 and my youngest is 4 years old. As my children progressed in their studies, I felt the need to further continue my own education. In 2000, I obtained my Associate in Science degree in Chile. In the summer of 2002, I migrated to the U.S. with my family. Upon my arrival, I looked into local area colleges and was especially impressed with Bergen. I am currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration Management.
I will always be grateful to my mother who encouraged me to work hard. I also want to thank my children who motivated me to go back to school. They have been extremely supportive.

One of the most significant experiences that I’ve had at Bergen has been to learn about different types of cultures and new ways of seeing the world. I find myself always wanting to learn more and I try my hardest with every new endeavor that I pursue.
