Biography:
I come from a very small but beautiful country in Europe, Macedonia. I studied at an American High School and graduated as Salutatorian of the Class of 2006. Ever since I started high school, I had the ambition of going abroad to study and do things on my own. It is a great challenge for me to live, study and be successful. I chose Bergen Community College because it has a very diverse student body. I joined several clubs and sincerely enjoy belonging to them. I am majoring in International Business and will transfer upon completion of my Associate’s Degree.
Why did you choose Bergen Community College?:
I chose Bergen because it is a great place to grow academically, as well as personally. There is a lot of support, and as International Student, that’s what I need.
What advice would you give a prospective student?:
Get involved—what is school if you don't get involved? I am a part of the International Student Association, the Honors Club, and a prospective Senator in the Student Government Council.
What has been your favorite academic experience so far?:
My favorite experience was the Leadership Weekend. It was amazingly challenging, to do all the workshops and learn a lot of new things! I was so happy I decided to go!
