Why did you pick Bergen Community College?:
I decided to go to Bergen for a variety of reasons. Firstly, I was not sure what major I wanted to pursue. In addition to that, Bergen was more affordable than a four-year college. I also loved the College’s campus too. From my first semester on, I always felt welcomed and comfortable. I knew I would take advantage of my time there.

What did you like best about your college experience?:
My favorite experience at Bergen was my participation in the Latin American Student Association (LASA). While serving as LASA’s secretary, I learned many skills and met a vast array of wonderful people. Bergen also provided challenging coursework instructed by teachers that helped to provide an insight to my future.

What advice would you give a current/prospective student?:
I would encourage students to become involved in the extracurricular activities around campus. There is a club that fits almost everybody's interests and identities. In addition to this, Bergen offers workshops where students can develop the leadership skills they will need for the future. The workshops are both fun and educational. I would recommend that students join clubs and participate in as much as possible. Don’t miss out on these opportunities.
