Three years ago, I decided to make a career change and become a nurse. I wasn't sure if it was the right decision or if I would like taking care of patients. While I was researching schools, I learned that Bergen Community College has one of the top two-year Nursing programs in New Jersey. I started to take prerequisite classes the semester before applying to the program and truly enjoyed them. I also found the location of the campus very convenient.

Bergen's Nursing program gave me a very solid base of academic knowledge. I am especially thankful to the teachers who taught and guided me. I owe special thanks to Professor Ostrander whose enthusiasm and dedication exhibited why I chose to become a nurse. In addition to everything I learned, I was also able to get my degree while working a full-time job, which was very convenient.

Study hard, education is a valuable experience. Not all learning is done in the classroom. Take time to learn about life. Enjoy yourself while doing it.
