My name is Jackie Martinez and I am a sophomore at Bergen Community College. I am planning to transfer to a four-year school after attaining my A.A. from Bergen. I am majoring in English and Secondary Education with a minor in Journalism.

chose Bergen because it was the most convenient choice, both academically and financially. It is truly a great school that is filled with wonderful and diverse people.

Bergen is an ideal choice for those who want a great education at a reasonable price. The staff is amazing and they really care about you. They make sure that you understand everything and genuinely care about your education.

My favorite and most memorable academic experience at Bergen so far was being inducted into Phi Theta Kappa. It is a great organization that is doing a lot for the community. There are many great opportunities in store for me and it is because of my involvement with Phi Theta Kappa.
