Biography:
I am currently a student in my second year and am majoring in computer science. Since grammar school I have been fascinated and intrigued by computers, so to take my knowledge of computer technology further, I decided to study it in college and make a career out of it. Since I am the first generation in my family to attend college, I take my education seriously and Bergen Community College is a place where I know I can grow mentally, academically, and socially so that I can be successful in every aspect of life.
Why did you choose Bergen Community College?:
I chose Bergen because I knew it would be a perfect fit for me. Bergen has an exceptional educational approach towards teaching its students and it is a college that is very diverse. Also, since college tuition and fees are increasing every year, the cost of Bergen compared to other schools is extremely low and affordable. So with all of this, it was vivid why I should choose Bergen.
What advice would you give a prospective student?:
Knowledge is power. Grasp the mind and conquer it. College is a wonderful experience that should be appreciated and handled with much enthusiasm. Expand the mind for it is a giant sponge ready to absorb everything that can make it better.
What has been your favorite academic experience so far?:
I can't really narrow it down to just one academic experience because you learn so much in so many ways. But two favorite experiences would be learning new things and subjects, and the other would be meeting new people and growing socially.
