Degree Seeking:
A.S.

Biography:
I am a second-year student who is majoring in broadcasting and is actively involved with extracurricular life at the college. I have been a member of the GLBT, LASA, Student Government and have also served as a Student Ambassador for the College. My involvement with student life has enabled me to make many friends and meet some truly wonderful people.

Why did you choose Bergen Community College?:
It was the perfect choice for me as I did not know what to expect from college, what it was going to offer me or what career path I wanted to choose.

What advice would you give a prospective student?:
While Bergen Community College is situated in a localized-setting and is a bit different from what you would experience at a four-year school, choosing to go here was the right choice for me, and it is a choice that other prospective students will not regret.

What has been your favorite academic experience so far?:
Each class that I took at Bergen was infused with a diversity of culture and opinion and I love that. I also took advantage of the College’s study abroad program. As a result, I was able to spend my Fall 2005 semester studying in Costa Rica.
