Why did you pick Bergen Community College?:
I initially chose BCC because I thought it would be the quickest route to a degree. My initial educational goal had been to attain an associate’s degree. However, once I enrolled here, that quickly changed. Each professor taught with such dedication and passion and helped me realize that I could aspire to accomplish even more. As a result, I will soon be attending William Paterson University on a full scholarship to complete the work for a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

What did you like best about your college experience?:
My favorite part of my college years have involved my participation in Phi Theta Kappa. This is an organization that challenges you to attain your highest level of excellence, yet at the same time promotes community service. Through PTK, I had the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and connect with many different people on and off-campus. It was an experience that I will not forget.

What advice would you give a current/prospective student?:
My best advice to a prospective student would be: Do not procrastinate. Even if it's one class, just do it. After all, this is not a race, it's a journey. Get involved with the various clubs and organizations on campus. They have something to offer everyone no matter what your background is.
