Without the help of everyone at Bergen Community College, I would have never been able to acheive my lifelong goal of a college education. I received a two-year full tuition scholarship to William Paterson University. Bergen Community College has truly given me a rare opportunity to accomplish this goal and I will be forever grateful to this school.

I chose to come to Bergen because it was conveniently located and the tuition was affordable. These two reasons made it easy for me to balance my family, educational and job responsibilities.

I really enjoyed making new friends and getting other people's perspective and opinons about different issues. Bergen Community College has such a diverse student body. There are people from every country and walk of life. This has really contributed to broadening my cultural understanding and has given me improved "people skills."

I particularly enjoyed working on projects where teamwork was involved. In most job situations it's a necessary skill to be able to work in a team environment. These exercises and projects give you valuable real world experience and help you to develop the self-confidence you need in today's job market.

Listen to every bit of advice your professor's have to offer. Every professor I've had at Bergen has made an impact in my career or my personal life. The faculty members are stellar.
