Testing:
Regarding the information on TESTING for courses at Bergen Community College (in Paramus or at Meadowlands), please note that in order to register as a degree seeking student in time for Fall or Spring classes, you may need to complete a placement test unless you can provide documentation* that waives you from testing requirements, including...
"Documents such as SAT scores; TOEFL scores; Accuplacer scores; college placement test scores from other colleges; college transcripts that show successfully completed college level English and mathematics courses; college degrees from accredited 4 year institutions."
You may visit the Office of Testing Services webpage: www.bergen.edu/testing to find more information about the Accuplacer placement test, Accuplacer test review materials, the current testing dates, and the test waiver form.
The placement test is available at the Office of Testing Services on the Paramus campus, room S-127 in the Pitkin Education Center. You must submit an application before you may be tested. If you have questions or require further information about testing, please visit the Office of Testing Services, room S-127, phone us at 201-447-7203, or email us at testingoffice@bergen.edu.
All students MUST take the Accuplacer placement test to register. More details about this can be seen at http://www.bergen.edu/testing. Here you can review test information & materials, & obtain a test waiver form.
The placement test schedule is listed on www.bergen.edu/testing and this schedule is updated on regular basis. You are advised to refer any placement test related questions you might have to the Office of Testing Services located in room S-127, Pitkin Education Center or call 201-447-7202 during hours of operation. Financial Aid & Bill Payment:

It is recommended that all students apply for financial aid. More information can be found on Financial Aid at http://www.bergen.edu/financialaid. To receive financial aid, you must be enrolled in a degree seeking program. You can apply online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov (official government website), & you can obtain your Pin # at www.pin.ed.gov. The Bergen Community College school code is 004736.

VISITING STUDENT (currently attending another institution/college/university)
If you are a returning visiting student (or have taken some classes as visiting student in the past), please report to Registration Center, Room A-129, Pitkin Education Center, for assistance as you do not need to re-apply for admissions.
If you will be taking classes as a "Visiting Student (currently attending other institution)” and wants to complete courses for transfer to a four-year college, you will need a Visiting Student Permission Form (with required signatures). This form can be found on Page 9 of the 2011 Summer Registration Book accessible at the College's home page under "2011 Summer Registration Book - NOW AVAILABLE" hyperlink. :

TRANSFER STUDENT (college graduate or applicant with some college education)
If you will be taking classes as a "Transfer Student (with previous college credit earned)” and wants to transfer to BCC completed courses from another institution:
Apply for admissions to the college as degree-seeking, first.
Once admitted to the Bergen Community College, please have your official college transcripts be directly sent from your former/current University/College/Institution to ATN: Office of Admissions Records, Bergen Community College, Pitkin Education Center, Room C-102, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus NJ 07652, for transfer evaluation of credit from other post-secondary institutions for course equivalency.
